Salary Increase 103
It’s been a while again. Maybe i was just to happy with my life nowadays that I don’t get a way to update my blog.
Well I’ve been telling many times that you can only push me to blog anything if I am sad and really down. But now something change because while writing this post I am actually so happy and thankful for the salary increase. It may not be the same amount I expect to receive but somehow more than enough than nothing at all and besides I might have another or pre Christmas gift as promised by MD. Besides that I can avail for the Medical Insurance where in I was asked to looked for the cheapest Insurance in town.
Relocation: Postponed
The thought of relocating to a new office somewhere in Business Bay area or along Sheikh Zayed Road had brought some great feelings on me. I already dreamed of a new Sheryl going to the office with her office attire and not like someone who always looks as if she’s going to the market. But then few weeks before everything was finalized something came up, my boss had more important things to settle about her daughters situation here in Dubai by which he has to postponed our plan of moving to another office.
Hopefully we can moved as soon as everything is settled.
3 Days Sick Leave
Its usual that i would ask for a leave sometimes that takes half day or one day but last week was worst. Early morning of Tuesday I have informed my boss from Iran that I will not be going to work because I was feeling so bad. I thought it would only take a day and i will get better but then the next day the more i felt so bad. My tonsils where swollen/inflamed and i had fever and flu. I didn’t informed my boss anymore that i would still be absent the following day and since everyday i have to send an important mail to our end users, i have just asked my friend who used to replace me whenever i’m on vacation if she could do me a favor of sending the past two days mails.
On the third day, i was already okay, fever was gone but my tonsils where still swollen yet i decided not to go to work because i was just working half day during Thursdays and it almost useless to go to work. But then noon time my boss called asking why i was not in the office and i told him I’ve been very very sick since Tuesday. He was a bit mad for not informing him that i was still absent the following days but i only told him that all emails where sent which i think the reason why he get mad.
